Washington, DC – The report reviews AACI’s accomplishments, advocacy efforts, and impact in the first half of 2023, including a summary of the 2023 convention as well as the association’s spring fly-in and leadership course. It also provides an update on the 2023 farm bill and what can be expected after the August recess, such as process, timing, and potential marker bills related to crop insurance. The report highlights Representatives Randy Feenstra (R-IA) and Angie Craig (D-MN), and the work they have already done this year to support and enhance the Federal crop insurance program. Finally, we’ve included several notable updates from USDA-RMA, and a list of all 2023 AACI-PAC contributors (as of 6/30/23), including the announcement for the winner of the AACI-PAC midyear raffle.
