Washington, DC – The American Association of Crop Insurers (AACI) released a report titled “AACI in Action: Quarterly Report”. The report reviews AACI’s work over the second quarter of 2020, including a look into how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted some of AACI’s AIP members as well as highlights from AACI’s weekly call series that was launched at the outset of the social distancing restrictions. The report also provides updates from two members of the Congressional Crop Insurance Caucus, Rep. Sharice Davids (D-KS) and Rep. Rick Crawford (R-AR), both of whom are working to ensure the agriculture community receives adequate support from the Federal government as the industry continues to provide resources to the general public during the global crisis. Lastly, the report introduces AACI’s inaugural leadership class participants and notes AACI-PAC contributors as of June 30, 2020.
